HRRA can help acceptance and compliance. TOF Norway is assessing human rights (HR) risks in a planned wind farm project in Taiwan. The national EIA and EMP are key documents subjected to the due diligence. The Developers desire to address HR in the renewable project. The Equator Principles (2020) , IFC Performance Standards, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights are used benchmarks. TOF will suggest pathways to assist the Project Owners to update and develop an EIA/ESIA/ESMP and safeguards sensitized to addressing human rights within the context of the project. TOF Norway signed a contract with NIRAS in December 2020.
